Marblehead Public Schools is excited to offer MySchoolBucks®! This online payment service provides a quick and easy way to add money to your student’s meal account using a credit or debit card. You can also view recent purchases, check balances, and set-up low balance alerts for FREE!
Other questions about using money on account to purchase non-meal food items have arisen. In our original communications to you, we stated that the funds would only be available for the purchase of meals. The system has the capacity to allow a variety of account permissions for each student. If you wish to make funds unavailable to your student for anything but lunch purchases, please email Marblehead Food Service to set these restrictions on your student's account. They can be modified at any time. All of the snacks we offer fall within the guidelines established by the Act for Healthier Children and the National School Lunch Program regulations regarding competitive foods.
Important notice to all parents whose children are receiving Free or Reduced Priced Meal Benefit. The benefits for which your household qualified last school year (2014-15) will be continued until September 30, 2015 of the new school year (2015-16). If you wish to continue receiving benefits after that date, you must complete a new application each school year. Free and Reduced Meal Applications are accepted all year long. As usual, applications will be sent home on the first day of school. You may download a Free and Reduced Meals Application in English or Español.
