Applicants may download application forms from this website, or call 781-639-3140 to be sent an application by mail. Questions regarding applying for employment within the Marblehead Public Schools may be referred to this same number. Applicants may also visit the Personnel Office located at 9 Widger Road, Marblehead, MA 01945. Office hours are 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Applying For Positions
To apply for teaching and educational administration positions, download and complete the Professional Application Form and submit it along with the following to the Marblehead Public Schools Office of Personnel:
- Professional Application Form
- Cover Letter
- Current resume
- Proof of appropriate Massachusetts licensure/certification
- Original college/university transcripts
- Three letters of reference
Applicants for teaching positions should submit a separate cover letter and resume for each available position of interest. Those selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the school Principal or another administrator.
Massachusetts Teacher Licensure/Certification
Appropriate licensure (certification) by the Massachusetts Department of Education (DOE) is required for Massachusetts public school teachers. Substitute Teacher Positions
Substitute teachers within the Marblehead Public Schools must possess a 4 year college degree.

Support Staff Positions (Paraprofessionals and other positions)
