PTO Mission Statement

  • The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Chapter 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now in effect or as may hereafter be amended (the “Code”). The purpose for which the Corporation is formed is to support and enhance the best possible educational environment for Village School students, to provide financial and voluntary support for the activities and needs of the Village School, and to foster relationships and facilitate communication between school, teachers and home.
  • Any parent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parentis for a student at the school may be a Member and shall have voting rights.
  • Any Teacher employed at the school may be a Member and have voting rights.


Any and all support of the PTO, whether through time or money, enhances our school and is appreciated by the entire Village School community, thank you!

Volunteering Opportunities:

Library Volunteers- The Village School Library is looking for six volunteers to help with book check in/out and shelving, book processing and covering, and other ongoing projects. It's a fun and easy way to help the school and our wonderful librarian, Allison Soghomonian. No experience is necessary! Various days and time slots are available.

Village Organic Garden- Help with planting, weeding, harvesting and end of year cleanup are all needed.
