• Massachusetts state regulation requires that all students have up-to-date immunizations in order to attend school.  
    Requirements apply to all students, including individuals from other countries attending or visiting classes or educational programs as part of an academic visitation or exchange program. Requirements apply to all students in every grade, even if they are over 18 years of age.
     

    GRADES 7-12

    Students in grades 7th-12th are required to have the following immunizations:
    • Tdap - 1 dose
    • Polio - 4 doses
    • Hepatitis B - 3 doses
    • MMR - 2 doses
    • Varicella - 2 doses or laboratory evidence of disease
    • Meningococcal (7th-10th) - 1 dose
    • Meningococcal (11th-12th) - 1 additional dose, 2 doses total
     

    GRADES PreK-6

     
    Students in grades Kindergarten - 6th are required to have the following immunizations:
    • DTaP - 5 doses
    • Polio - 4 doses
    • Hepatitis B - 3 doses
    • MMR - 2 doses
    • Varicella - 2 doses or laboratory evidence of disease 
    Students in grades Pre-K are required to have the following immunizations:
    • Hib - 1-4 doses
    • DTaP - 4 doses
    • Polio - 3 doses
    • Hepatitis B - 3 doses
    • MMR - 1 dose
    • Varicella - 1 dose or laboratory evidence of disease
